Sea salt is a mix of sodium chloride, magnesium salts and trace minerals obtained by evaporating seawater.
Traditionally, bathing in salts has been used to improve circulation, relieve muscle and joint pain, reduce swelling and draw out accumulated toxins. Warm water helps with some of these things by itself; the salts increase the effect plus adds drawing action to draw impurities from the skin.
